This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Senior Technical professional to manage and lead Quality / Hygiene and QA Systems teams.
This role will provide a platform for the right candidate who has aspirations to be a Site Technical Manager of a large site in the future.
My client is part of an extremely successful and highly respected food group, they manufacture delicious chilled products for the major retailers. This is a large 24/7 production site that is a purpose built facility and has won several major industry awards, demonstrating their commitment to innovation and product quality, and also my client holds the ‘Investors in People’ accreditation. Due to an increase in volume and capacity this is an exciting period of growth for my client and they are seeking to recruit a credible Technical Controller (Number two to the current Technical Manager) who will take ownership for the QA, Hygiene and Systems teams.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate and work independantly.
Have previous short shelf life, chilled Food experience
Be looking for career progression as this role will be a succession plan for the current Technical Manager due for retirement in the next couple of years.
A passionate individual with a strong work ethic, you will be a technically sound, commercially astute, professional with a proven track record, leading BRC and developing quality management systems.
Customer oriented, you will have had extensive experience dealing with the major retailers and capable of inspiring your team with a hands-on approach.
You’ll be a resilient, decisive and a natural leader able to direct the technical agenda.
