Principle purpose of job:

Assist with all aspects of Personnel activity for my client - a successful Food Manufacturing company, and to manage the day to day activities of Human Resources; working with each department manager as appropriate.

Provide support to Human Resource Manager and Director. To support the HR team, whilst providing technical and practical advice to employees and managers on effective people management through the application of agreed people policies and procedures, predominantly in resourcing and employee relations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure standards are continually challenged and consistently applied.

This is an extremely fast moving environment and requires prospective candidates to have the gravitas and credibility to lead the HR function as part of the Senior Team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) is essential.
• Ideally in food manufacturing, essentially in FMCG
• Track record of delivering projects and continuous improvement of HR practices
• Experience in Blue-Chip FMCG organizations.
• Must be PC literate: PowerPoint, excel, word.
• Ability to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills.
• Good Team working skills.
