My client a successful Bakery based business is seeking to addto the team and accomplished Quality Manager to manage the function and lead the Quality teams going forward.
The Role:
• Maintaining BRC accreditation
• Improve Technical / Quality performance through measurement and projects to challenge current thinking; ensuring new and existing legislative requirements are met at factory level.
• Proactive use of new technology to improve Technical Integrity.
• Development and use of computer systems to manage documentation / communication
• Management of Local Government Audits such as Environmental Health and Trading Standards.
• Ensuring HACCP procedures are up to date, identifying all CCPs and relevant training needs.
• Development and management of the Quality System and Quality Manual ensuring all procedures are relevant, amendments briefed and trained.
• Development of Internal Audit schedules kept up to date and proposed corrective actions followed through
• Driving forward continuous improvement programmes for incident management, hygiene, quality, development and due diligence systems.
• Management of internal monthly reports and KPI systems.
• Providing direction, motivation and support to direct reports to meet department targets and cross functionally to meet business plan, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Actively promote a Safety culture ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met.
