QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ROLE

• HND/ Degree in a Food or Science discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar role in chilled food manufacture.
• Experience in dealing with the major multiple retailers.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Reliable and conscientious Demonstrable understanding of HACCP, GMP and Hygiene Systems Auditing experience (Hygiene, HACCP, GMP, QMS).
Working understanding of food microbiology Working understanding of food labelling Effective planning and organization skills.
Effective communication skills Works in an accurate / logical / methodical manner
Effective problem solving skills.
Effective man-management skills Continually challenges / drives standards forward.
Detailed working knowledge of microbiological chilled food manufacture.
Good general technical knowledge.

My client is experiencing ongoing growth in volume and requires an accomplished, ambitous QA Manager to lead and develop the Quality department.
