KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • To manage product portfolio, creating and delivering an effective annual marketing plan for the product ranges, including consumer insight, product and range development, above and below the line communication.
• To be involved in the development of the Channel strategy consistent with the Company’s business strategy, and to help champion this internally and externally across all trading channels.
• To review volume and profitability monthly, and implement tactical measures to ensure business targets are met.
• To co-ordinate the activities of external agencies and suppliers (i.e. Advertising, PR, Design Agency, Packaging suppliers) alongside the Head of Marketing to ensure that activity is consistent with marketing plans
• To be involved in the identification and development of consumer and customer insight to develop the strategic direction of the innovation programme.
• To manage the marketing budget for the role, ensuring that targets are met
• To support the Head of Marketing in achieving Marketing Team targets.
Knowledge/Experience:
• Graduate calibre with relevent marketing experience ideally within a branded FMCG organisation, within the food sector (preference will be given to applicants who have experience in confectionery, biscuits, cakes and other snack foods) .
