Part of a larger group producing high quality chilled foods for the British retailers and due to winning further new business my client is continuing their expansion and is now looking for an excellent Process Development Technologist to join their team.

Reporting to a Senior Technologist, you will be part of the technical team providing a key service between NPD and the production unit to ensure the smooth transition of new products from concept to launch.

The role will focus mainly on taking products from development to implementation into the factory. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or do after hours trials in the factory are necessary if the business requires it. You will also be responsible for carrying out internal audits whilst also dealing with recipe trials.

You will be required to work closely with the development and production departments therefore must have the ability to build strong internal relationships.

My client is ideally looking for a degree level candidate. This maybe your second role since Graduating. They will also consider new Graduates who have relevant placement experience within a challenging food manufacturing environment, preferably chilled. A good understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene systems with food safety auditing experience, you will posses good communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
