Key Purpose/Target of the Post:

To place timely and accurate orders for all Raw Materials to ensure that stock is available so that the Production Plan can be followed at all times. This includes all Bulk liquids, Packaging, raw Materials and cleaning supplies.

Communicate with Planning and the Supply chain manager any delays or non availability of materials. To calculate daily usage, and schedule the timings of daily deliveries, of liquid ingredients to our on site storage tanks and monitoring stock levels to avoid delays and shortages on deliveries.

Manage raw material stock levels to agreed stock holding criteria. To book in all deliveries whilst liaising with Goods in on timings, detailing the information required, chase late deliveries and ensuring that all booking in procedures are clear, communicated and adhered to by suppliers.

To communicate to the Sales and Marketing teams current stock levels of all unique packaging and ingredients for to be de-listed lines so as to ensure the minimisation of redundant stocks. Identify and suggest cost effective solutions for the removal/disposal of all obsolete raw materials.

Run and interrogate the MPR200 system to establish both the quantity and timings of all raw materials, placing call off orders on each supplier as required meeting the needs of the business. Close down all completed Works orders, so as to maintain control over Raw material demands. Calculate the daily usage and quantity of the bulk liquids, liaising with the Goods In warehouse, for deliveries. Book in all deliveries, chasing and correcting all non compliances. Report daily at the 9.30am meeting any potential raw material issues. Report weekly on Raw Material stock levels.
