A Packaging Technologist is required by my client a successful, dynamic, chilled food manufacturer. You will be required to design, develop and deliver innovation in packaging solutions.

This is an exciting new role that has arisen due to the success of this site and reports directly into the Purchasing Manager. This is all about innovation - managing and delivering activities that support the development of new and existing product whilst contributing to a deeper understanding of target consumers and pack solutions.

You will be expected to accurately scope and define projects in line with the business strategy, able to communicate progress and drive projects to a successful conclusion against plan. This means full life cycle, from concept to delivery, factory to the bin, ensuring that along the way the consumer benefits, functional requirements and sustainablility targets are taken account of and needs met.

The successful applicants will be degree qualified ( or equivalent)and ideally have completed a Packaging Qualification (IOP / IOM3 / ESIEC)

My clients will be looking for someone who is able to demonstrate a successful track record preferable in the Food or FMCG sectors and provide evidence of their achievements.
