My client is an award winning, chilled, short shelf life, food manufacturer, part of a multi-million pound operation. A real success story that continues to buck the trend and is continuing to grow at a rapid pace.
I am looking for a top draw Operations Managers with extensive High Risk expertise to join their pofitable site in North London. The business as a whole is enjoying on-going success and rarely have opportunities like this available. The current incumbent is relocating abroad which has now resulted in the need for an additional high-calibre Manager to lead the current teams.
Your accountability will be all inclusive in the manaufacturing function, as you would expect, and will therefore encompass all operational responsibilities: Productivity, Quality, Health & Safety and Cost control-performance and Leadership.
You will manage a business unit which operates a 2 shift system, 7 days per week. Reporting into the Head of Operations you wll be able to demonstrate your ability to drive business units forward, enhance profitability and of course work with innovation in a pragmatic style.
This role is not for the faint hearted. It is a challenging environment, a growing business and needs an accomplished Food industry expert to lead the teams through a further phase of business enhancement.

This role will be part of the Senior Management Team to assist with driving the business forward linking in direction from the Board with the overall aims of the business.
