Requirements for the role:


•Food handling training required – basic food hygiene is a requirement
•Good communication and organisational skills are necessary to perform in this role
•Confidence to speak to suppliers on the phone is required. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE •
•Ability to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills. •
•Good understanding of hygienic working practices.

Principal Purpose of Job (including main objectives):
•To work closely with and to support the development team and chef.
•Collect samples and raw materials from the factories, ring suppliers, book couriers and ordering of and collection of samples from the factory.
•This role will require going out to collect samples and ingredients from the shops to support the chefs.
•There will be a requirement to help set up for customer visits.
•The role will include elements of kitchen management, e.g. hygiene, housekeeping(including washing up)
•Ordering consumables and stock rotation
•The role will include some interface with factory personnel, ingredient suppliers, packaging suppliers and couriers.
•The role will involve booking of meeting rooms and coordinating these Types of Projects that the development technician may be involved with could include everything from new-to-the-category NPD to more near-term product improvements, range extensions, cost savings initiatives etc.
