Hygiene Supervisor Night Shift

Food Manufacturing Near Blackburn

£15,500 pa

SCOPE OF JOB:

• Departmental hygiene.

• Supervising a small team

• Ensuring all machinery and surrounding area’s are hygienically sound

• All associated paper work is correct and up to date.

• Replenishment of departmental personal hygiene equipment.

• Ensure state of readiness to commence work at the start of the shift.

• Ensure designated duties are carried out efficiently and that wastage and disposals are kept to a minimum at all times.

• Ensure duties are performed in line with standard operating procedures and that any defects or errors are reported to the Supervisor as they occur.

• Ensure all operating requirements are completed accurately to ensure customer order requirements are met.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and observe all food hygiene and health & safety policies at all times.

SKILLS:

• Awareness of food hygiene and health and safety requirements.

• Achievement of intermediate Food Hygiene a requirement within probationary period.

• Chemical handling awareness.

• Awareness of HACCP EXPERIENCE:

• Experience of working in a manufacturing hygiene environment.

• Experience of working shift patterns.
