My client is part of an extremely successful food manufacturer. Due to an increase in volume and capacity this is an exciting period of growth for my client and they are seeking to recruit a credible Hygiene Manager. This role requires a capable candidate from a Food Manufacturing background who is experienced in Hygiene management and procedures in complex food manufacturing environments.

Scope:

Manage Hygiene standards, controls, costs and teams across the site incorporating production, Office and site grounds. Manage and maintain Hygiene Standards Reporting and Hygiene Cost Reporting in Operations. Support small team based focused improvement activities. Report and track Productivity Improvements.

Primary Objectives;

Develop a clear Hygiene Control structure for the site. Develop and maintain departmental cost control. Identify and implement Good Manufacturing Practices for Hygiene & HS&E on site. Person Description Strong Food Hygiene & Operational background with good understanding of critical risks & controls. Knowledge and application of best practice in Product safety, plant and environmental cleaning, High Care factory support requirements and manufacturing processes.

Behaviour demonstrating a good understanding of financial aspects of Hygiene Operations and their control. The ability to contribute, including using the skills above, to broader Operational Development and Productivity Improvements. Clear experience of managing projects and activities. Good People Skills, ability to work within and direct cross-functional teams.
