Principle purpose of job:
Assist with all aspects of Personnel activity for my client and to manage the day to day activities of Human Resources; working with each department manager as appropriate. Also providing support to Human Resource Manager and Director.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
Recruitment & selection
Manage sickness and absence
Providing advice and guidance to all employees on HR issues.
Undertaking generalist HR meetings.
Managing and optimising the use of HR documentation.
Liaison with internal and external parties.
Liaising with Finance regarding payroll information regarding payroll issues.
To assist the HR Manager in ensuring that all Terms and Conditions and policies and procedures comply with legislation and are up to date and in place.
To manage all employee benefits including Pensions, Life Insurance and Healthcare including administration issues.
Supporting the business in relation to HR issues and organisational change
Qualifications & Experience
Experience within a similar role, ideally with a Food Manufacturing background
CIPD qualified or to degree standard
