This is a broad generalist HR and training role working for a fast paced manufacturing organisation. The role is responsible for delivering the daily HR service to the business and for overseeing all HR processes and procedures to ensure excellence.

This role will report directly to the HR Manager.



Skills & Experience:


Formal Qualifications and Training - CIPD post graduate qualification / Degree level (or equivalent)

At least three years generalist HR experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience of designing and delivering training programmes.

Experience of working at a management level within a business.

Responsibility for managing a team of people.

Strong employment law understanding and the ability to practically apply legislation to work based scenarios.

Anticipates the impact of new legislation and acts on this.

Disciplinary experience up to and including dismissal.


The responsibilities of the role will include:



HR Service, Systems, Procedures

HR KPIs / Budget Provision and communication of business information including HR & Health and Safety statistical data

Recruitment Support business with on-going labour planning.

Training & development

Ensure site PDM’s are carried out and linked effectively into the succession planning process and business needs.

Continual development of the Company Induction process.
