To support our business we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Development Technologist to join the team.

Reporting to the Process Development Manager, you will manage the Process Development Team involved in applying new recipes and processes to the factory, from NPD approval to launch and final review. This will involve working closely with Purchasing, Commercial and Production teams, as well as with the Customer.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Ensure trials are completed in a timely manner and all required information is collated.
Liase with raw material suppliers to ensure correct specifications are achieved
Deputise for the Process Development Manager as required.
Ensuring problems and difficulties are highlighted and through a team approach solutions are offered, trailed and implemented.
Ensure that Process Development Technologists are given the opportunity to develop in predetermined fields of excellence – potato, meat and gels.
Develop relationship with customer base during times of product hand over, pre-production runs and launch days to ensure expectations are achieved.
Attend development meetings as required by Manager maintain data-base of all key product details as products developed.
Respond in timely manner to documentation, artwork, and other requests for information from the customer
