To actively market our technical expertise and enhance our profile with all our customers. To develop and extend our supplier base in the UK and overseas. To maintain absolute control of all aspects of agronomy with sustained focus on ALL chemical inputs at source Main duties and responsibilities: Supplier focussed Manage supplier profiles Maintain approved supplier and grower lists. Maintain MWW produce specifications for the category. Maintain due diligence across supply base. Learn and understand farming practices/crop husbandry across product range. Overseas auditing and visits against agreed plan recommend and implement corrective actions Supplier improvement plan: prepare, implement and review ICM EUREP BRC HACCP, SRT and NPD. Measure the performance of suppliers each month based on intake (supermarket, non-supermarket quality and waste and cost) Look at intake consignments for own category giving immediate poor performance feedback to MWW buyers and the suppliers and monitoring ongoing situation. Co-ordinate all related trial work. Customer Focussed (Internal & External) Prepare with commercial input, weekly bulletins to each customer technical contact Meet the technical marketing plan for your category Plan and control customer visits. Plan the agenda and orchestrate customer visits to our sources Formally follow up all CARES, depot rejections and warnings Produce monthly Quality of Service analysis based on CARES claims and depot rejections and follow up commercial decision-making. Co-ordinate with systems manager and maintain customer specification within MWW technical department ensuring that relevant personnel are aware of changes to systems.
