Leading and Managing a chilled Despatch area with 4 direct Team Leader reports. You will be an experienced Manager from a Food Production background, with ideally exposure to a fast paced, challenging, chilled, environment previously. Low risk and High care knowledge very desirable.

This is a demanding environment supplying premium products, therefore you will need to demonstrate the ability to lead, coach and develop the team of production team leaders - they are committed and experienced but need further input in terms of coaching them to be better managers and leaders of teams.

Manage all aspects of stock control within the Department commensurate with an efficient material supply level, including organising necessary stock counts/rotation Meet budget requirements for labour and materials Deliver 100% customer accuracy Ensure quality is met within customer expectation Ensure the health and safety of all employees and visitors Improve skills of Team Leaders Implement Business Improvement Plans Monitor and control absenteeism, sickness, holidays Identify and facilitate all team training requirements Anticipate and control the use of overtime and temporary agency requirements Ensure the team comply with statutory and Company food safety, health and safety policies by means of regular audits Ensure effective management/compliance with defined product quality and technical standards Hold daily shift meetings Ensure effective management cover to reflect production needs Ensure all finished products are delivered at the specified quality and technical standards. Ensure direct reports comply with statutory and company food safety policies by means of regular audits. Complete root cause corrective action investigations into identified quality defects/faults.
