We are currently seeking to recruit an NPD Buyer to join our clients busy Purchasing Team.

The Role:

• Responsibility for sourcing, negotiating and managing all new ingredients and suppliers from product concept to launch.

• Maintainance and distribution of product launch matrix.

• Arranging samples for the development and process teams as required.

• Providing an advisory service to other functions within the business with regard to raw materials supply.

• Maintanance of sample cost spreadsheets.

• Management of stock at Suppliers.

• Carrying out project work as required.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will:-

• Be PC literate on Microsoft packages with a working knowledge of Excel and Word.

• Preferably hold a CIPS qualification but not essential.

• Hold proven negotiation skills. • Have excellent communication skills. • Be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills. • Have a flexible approach towards working hours.
